Happy 50th anniversary of MALAYSIA Independence Day

People said that im not / less patriotic when i told them that i dont feel like celebrating Malaysia’s 50th Anniversary of Independence Day on the BIG DAY. Is it me who is less patriotic to my country or is it them who think they really know the meaning of it?
Independence
Day got its own meaning for me. Tho, im not the one who fought to free
my country back then, but the love i had fer ma country is sumthing
that nobody can throw their judgement on it. I celebrate the
independent of ma country on every breathe i take in this
multi-cultural, peaceful & harmony land. Be more thankful when
everytime i see all ma kids, frenz, brothers, sisters, fathers, &
mothers from another countries. I was havin this weird says from all of
them everytime i laid eyes on them. It seems like they were sayin..
"ya r lucky!"
"independence day? yeah-rite!"
and it keeps me thinkin, r we THAT lucky (fer not have to FIGHT, BLEED & FALL)? r we really independent??

sorry that i didnt join ya on the big celebration that nite..I just
dont feel like goin..dont like to be stucked in the crowd..plus those
noisy crowds aint know shits of whut they r doin..those who were havin
lotsa fun, drinkin all nite, do shits & all, enjoy yer independent
while ya stil can..happy MERDEKA day..
